About the restaurant
Owners Vicki and Carl welcome you to the Pier 39 restaurant and website. Now into our 4th year and with over 20 years experience in the catering industry, we are constantly striving to offer the highest quality of service and food. Pier 39 Restaurant aims to offer a whole new experience in dining out in Sutton Coldfield.
Head Chef Andrew Bates, Sous Chef Nick Dewhurst and their team have an impressive array of culinary skills between them and produce exquisite dishes with top quality ingredients. The team is constantly looking at new and exciting dishes to keep the customer interested. Special cards are created each week in order to show future menu ideas, with customer feedback most appreciated. Only local ingredients are used, with all fresh fish delivered every day from Tudor Seafood at Birmingham Wholesale Market. All of our meat products are provided by family butcher, G Preston in Kingstanding. Our bread is baked fresh daily and delivered from Fleetwood Delicatessen Bakery in Boldmere. Pier 39 is committed to ensuring all of the dishes on our menus are homemade and to the highest possible standard.
Restaurant Manager Michelle Mawer along with Vicki and Carl are constantly looking at the quality of service we provide, with regular staff training to ensure that menu knowledge and service skills of all the staff are of the highest possible standards.
Pier 39 is always looking into new ideas and keen to keep the restaurant moving at all times. Theme nights are always sold out once a month on Tuesday evenings, with customer’s ideas on future events welcomed. Jazz nights on Friday’s are as popular as ever, and now we offer a resident pianist every Tuesday theme nights permitting, to compliment your meal.
