On October 11th , Pier 39's Carl Jones and Anthony Horton will be taking part in the 2009 Chicago Marathon. As well as the obvious physical challenge of completing the distance, Carl and Anthony have committed themselves to the challenge of raising as much money for a local charity “Breast Friends” who are based at Good Hope Hospital. The aim of Breast Friends is to help local women with breast cancer through a difficult time by offering friendship, support and practical hel
In order to help raise funds, Pier 39 are pleased to announce that the restaurant will host a tribute evening, which will feature the one of the UK's finest tribute acts, in order to help raise funds for this very good cause. The fund raiser will take place on Thursday 24th September and will feature live entertainment from George Michael. Tickets will cost just £35.00 per person. This price includes a champagne reception, followed by a four course dinner and of course live entertainment. Tickets can be purchased by calling Pier 39 on 0121 323 4600.
A raffle will be held therefore any raffle prizes you would like to donate, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
